“Amare” means “to love” in Latin, and love is the universal language. Yet, in order to truly love others, we believe you must first start by loving yourself. Not only an emotional kind of love, but the kind where you take care of your physical body so that all the rest of you is cared for as well. 

I'm a member of the Mental Fitness Collective - professionals supporting others to inspire you to love, to care for, and to believe in yourself by taking concrete actions for your well-being. I started a protocol for my gut-brain health in February of 2021. The impact on my mental clarity and my energy has been fantastic. 

I wanted to be a doctor back in the day, but couldn't afford the med school tuition. I became a nurse instead. Then I discovered how much of our non-wellness was the result of our perspectives and beliefs - and that's the work I've been doing for decades now. In the past couple of years, I've reintegrated my love for physically taking care of ourselves with my commitment to having an empowering perspective. The Mental Fitness Collective and Amare allow me to create that integration seamlessly.
